How to Look Polished and Put Together in Preclinicals

Everyone knows that one person in college who seems to always look polished and put together no matter what preclinals throw at them. They could wear a simple shirt and trousers and somehow still look clean despite the many struggles of medical school.

Here are some of the ways you can also look polished and put together every time:

Prioritize Personal Grooming

This includes grooming everything from your hair to your nails and skin. You don’t want your skin looking chapped or your hair looking unkempt. You should also fix chipped nail polish from your nails.
Throw in a nice cap if it’s unavoidable that your hair looks unkempt.

Accessorize

Accessorising can range from putting on a simple wristwatch when you’re going for practical classes to layering necklaces and bracelets when you’re going for a hangout with your classmates.
Accessoring no matter how little, takes your outfit from bland to grand.

Simple is Classy

Instead of trying to use all the fashion hacks you know all at once making you look tacky, stick to just one or two that go best with the look you’re trying to create and save the other hacks for later

Maintain a Good Posture

Be conscious of how you hold your body. Stand tall, square your shoulders and raise your chin. Let your body posture communicate confidence and don’t be afraid to take up space.

Wear fitting clothes

It’s crucial to know your body type and ensure your dresses are tailored towards what it is. Don’t wear clothings that are too tight or too loose.
Discard old clothings and don’t wear dirty ones

Care for your Feet

The easiest place to ignore while trying to look polished is your feet. Make sure your feet are always clean and never dusty. Don’t drag your feet while walking and invest in good and well-fitted footwear.

Looking polished and put together in does not have to be hard, even in the stressful world of preclinical college.

By focusing on personal grooming, accessorizing smartly, choosing simple yet classy outfits, maintaining good posture, wearing well-fitted clothes and caring for your feet, you can present yourself with ease.

Embrace your style and let it reflect your best self!
