MediVoice: Good day, can we meet you, please?
Abdulbasit: I am Balogun Abdulbasit Ayomide. I have other names depending on where, and who.
MediVoice: To start with, What inspires you to write?
Abdulbasit: The universe and what it contains, and my musings, and thoughts when they pull up the curtains.
MediVoice: That’s nice, I like nature too. Do you upload your write-ups on media?
Abdulbasit: Sometimes, I upload on WhatsApp. Aside from WhatsApp, they remain on my shelf until time calls for them.
MediVoice: Amazing 😄 How well have the comments been so far?
Abdulbasit: Yeah. So far, the responses have been encouraging, and awe-inspiring!
MediVoice: So, What genre do you love writing and why?
Abdulbasit: To be sincere, I write on any genre that makes words seem characteristically metallic. However, I find poetry always, at the tip of my pen.
MediVoice: Metallic and magnetic🌚. Which of your write-ups is your favorite?
Abdulbasit: At present, I don’t have a favorite, but I do have a part that intrigues me in every piece.
MediVoice:If you’re to choose a partner; a singer, writer, or nerd?
Abdulbasit: I would choose a partner(laughs)…
MediVoice: Apart from writing, are you into any other extracurricular activities?
Abdulbasit: Yes! But let’s keep the details for some other time
MediVoice: In 5 years, what’s your plan for your writing skills?
Abdulbasit: Plans are entropic, however, I do not crave a better past, and a future bereft of the sun’s brilliance.
