Film Review: Pulp Fiction(1994)

A film that lives in the moment without regard for a grand narrative, and no overarching sense of direction nor continuity. At the same time it is asking mini existential questions without attempting to combine the answers into a life system, it is also looking at the cultural phenomena of various stages of the past, caring little for philosophical conflict between them and claiming it all for itself in the kind of collage that picks a marble piece from a Michangelo statue, and a scrap page from a playboy magazine issue and makes them into a Picasso composition. A fine statement for the postmodern theory
