Why you need to drink water

Today, I’m going to be your aproko doctor. If you’ve seen his videos or you’re familiar with his content on Twitter, you’ll know he advocates a lot for good nutrition and safe sex practices. And one key aspect of his health education is water. Yes, so my goal is to convince you to hydrate more often.

Water is an essential component of life, playing a vital role in maintaining overall health and well-being.  Hydration is fundamental to human survival, with water constituting a significant portion of the human body. It is involved in key processes such as nutrient transportation, temperature regulation, and waste elimination.

One  important benefit of water is its role in maintaining proper cognitive function. Dehydration has been linked to cognitive impairments, including difficulties in concentration, memory, and mood disturbances. So, If you want to score 98/100 in your next incourse/ EOP, drink bottles of water everyday 😂. 

Furthermore, water is essential for weight management and can contribute to a healthy metabolism. Research indicates that drinking it before meals can lead to a reduction in calorie intake, facilitating weight loss. The idea is that you’ll feel fuller before you eat and you’ll eat less. Now if you’re looking for a way to lose weight without entering the gym this year, you know what to do; drink water!

What about your skin? Good hydration helps to maintain the moisture in your skin and prevent it from being dry and flaky. Studies have also shown that well hydrated skin tends to show less signs of aging. Wonder why that skincare routine has not been working for you? It may be because you’re not hydrating enough.

In conclusion, get a bottle, fill it, and always stay hydrated. In the words of aproko doctor, “how many bottles of water have you drunk today?”
