Our colour straw, a journey told
In hues that weave our story
Threads of memories, that would forever hold
With joy and tears, our love unfolds
Brown, the start, where paths did meet
Mixed with happiness and uncertainty
A fragile dance of getting to know
Yellow, it’s bright, as fears did fade
With laughter and joy, hearts made whole
Heartbeats race with every sweet phase
Pink, with butterflies, our love did play
Conversations sweet, every single day
Love’s tender shoots begin to swell
Red, pure love, my heart did confess
Though unspoken, his actions, I did address
Basking in love, everything I desired
Purple, deep, our bond did grow
Depth of understanding unfold
Loyalty and trust, our love’s strong gold
Grey, a shift, like a sudden rain
Black at my end, white at his
Confusion and sadness, tears fell hard
White, acceptance, a shift in friendship
No grudges held, it’s what we tell ourselves
