Of deep, dark depths

I like to believe I’m not stupid.
But whenever I walk by open wells.
I feel like jumping in
Into the deep, dark depths,
I’m not suicidal, no.
But my body craves the thrill
Of floating, falling, floating
For the short second- an eternity
Before I break into a thousand pieces.

I like to believe I’m not stupid
But I took one look into your eyes
And I fell, no, I jumped into love
Into depths of your indifference
I’m not suicidal, no.
But my body craves the thrill.
Of floating, falling, floating
For the short second- an eternity
Before I break into a thousand pieces.
